Kidzoona at IOI City Mall

Today my husband and I brought our kids, Adam, Ameena and Azmi for an outing at IOI City Mall. There’s a lot more people than normal today, probably double/triple their usual weekend crowd. Probably due to Christmas holidays.

Anyway, we decided to bring them to Kidzoona, an indoor playground suitable for kids below 12 years old. Although probably more suitable for kids below 8 years old. For kids above that age might be a little boring for them.
However we love Kidzoona as it’s quite affordable and entertaining for our kids (aged 5, 4 and 3 years old). Ample excitement for them. When I brought Adam and Meena to Kidzoona in Melaka last week, they spent more than 3 hours there and I was already so sleepy. Haha.

Anyway, would like to share with you some pictures of Kidzoona IOI City Mall Putrajaya (located on first floor, near the Icescape Ice Skating Rink). It is actually in the same area as Molly Fantasy. So you need to find Molly Fantasy in order to find Kidzoona.

Entrance fees as of 24th December 2016:

Weekday: RM10/kid

Weekend/Public Holiday: RM17/kid

(Free for guardian above 18 years old and all children must be accompanied by a guardian at all times)

Socks are required. If you forgot your socks, you can purchase from them as well.

Roller Coaster Weeks

These past 2 weeks have been such a roller coaster for me. With problems at the office and at home, including Facebook disabling my account, really almost throw me into a depression.

With Facebook I contact my US friends and save all my photos when I were in the US.

Anyhow, today made my day a little when I discovered my old account at Flickr.

Although not as many photos as I have put on Facebook, some of the pictures made me smile.

I really miss my student life. 😭😭😭

I wish I could turn back time and go back to the United States.

But I can’t.

So now what I can do is to prepare and embrace the future. Be the best.

Pray for me.

Wakeup Call

Facebook has disabled my account since last Thursday. A very bad timing as well.

I really feel I am the victim here. I haven’t done anything that violates Facebook terms and conditions. I used my real name, real pictures. All my company’s trademarks are registered. I am unsure if the Facebook bots are the one who disabled my accounts or somebody reported me (reported what? There’s nothing that i have violated).

It’s very unfair for Facebook to do this to their users without any explanation and whatever. I am even considered as their customer. My company has spent thousands on facebook ads every month up until the day my account being disabled. Now all my business pages are gone too.

I have been trying to contact Facebook since the past few days with utter failure. This is probably an example of a successful company with very poor customer service.

I used to be a fan of Facebook, following Mark Zuckerberg’s stories, even promoting to other SMEs to use Facebook Ads. I feel utterly betrayed and I am really stressed out on this.

However, this has been a wake up call for me. Don’t depend your marketing on one platform only. They can easily kill you off without any reason.

Now I wonder if I would ever be the same again with Facebook. I feel very victimized.

A refresh at Melaka

I have been quite stressed out for a few days and decided to take a short vacation away from home and office. As I left home at 11pm last night, I was only allowed to choose somewhere near enough for me to drive at night without being sleepy.

Well, I chose Melaka 😊😊😊

Although I plan to have a rest without work-related disturbance, I still received lot of calls and whatsapp today 😭😭😭 that need my response. But probably that’s COO life, you cannot run away a day. Or probably I am not a good enough COO yet. Huhu.

Anyway, it’s good to have a relaxing day away from work to avoid burnout. If you feel you are quite tensed and easily get angry at the office, consider take some time away off work.

Benefits of living near the office

Alhamdulillah today I have managed to help my good friend to move nearer to the office. Our officemates helped as well, thank you much everyone who have helped today, really appreciate all your effort.

There’s still a lot of arrangement to be done but alhamdulillah at least all the items have been moved successfully.

Anyway, why is living near the office beneficial to oneself?

There are pros and cons of living near to the office. One of the cons might be the rental and moving costs. You might be able to rent a bigger house when living farther from the office at the same amount of rent (assuming your office is near the city or someplace with more rentals demand). However, if you are single, space might not be the biggest issue that you need to face.

Firstly, By living near to the office, you can save your time traveling and use it for something more beneficial. As an example, if you take a bus, the traveling + waiting time might exceed an hour. This amount of time can be used for something else if you move closer to the office and you will be able to make it more productive. Besides, you can save costs on commuting and use the money to cover the higher rent (if it is higher).

Besides, you can actually reduce the amount of stress you need to face when commuting daily. Besides saving time and money that you spend on commute, you will be able to reduce the stress as well, making the work more enjoyable for you. I have seen difference in stress level and productivity in employees who commute from far and those who live nearer to the office.

Well, what do you think? Do you prefer to live near or far from your workplace?
