Trip to Ipoh, Perak

We had a last-minute gateway to Ipoh Perak this past weekend and it was really worth it! I had quite a few depressing weeks and this getaway has helped me to turn my mind off office things (although quite a few people still contact me over the weekend but I appreciate that they gave me some space when I told them that I am not in Bangi at the moment. Thank you.)

On Saturday, we went to Lost World of Tambun. The price is okay and inclusive of the whole park including the theme park (minimal number of rides, petting zoo, water park, etc). However, due to the rain in the late afternoon we were not able to get on all the rides.

Adam, Meena and Azmi really enjoyed feeding the animals. I love it that my kids love animals. 😘😘😘

You can find raccoons, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits and other cute animals in the petting zoo. They also have a room for cats where you can go in to pet the cats for 5 minutes. The cats were huge!

In Lost World of Tambun, they focus more on nature, so don’t expect a lot of rides (even so, we were not able to go onto all the rides due to rain).

Ameena is such a cute girl, isn’t she?

And my handsome husband enjoyed feeding the parrots. We probably should have some of them as pets hehe.

After sleeping at DWJ hotel in Ipoh that night (we did not stay for night jungle because all of us were already too tired and cold by then), on Sunday (aka today!), we decided to stop by at Gua Tempurung on the way back to KL.

This is the first cave that Adam, Meena and Azmi went to (and probably mine for Malaysia’s cave haha).

My kids were very excited when we first arrived to the cave. Of course they were excited since they were such little explorers and really enjoy any trip that we bring them to =)

See their faces!

The trip as almost 2 hours long (return trip) and the guide kept telling us all the similarities of all the stalagtites and stalagmites to animals figures, humans and even heart shaped hole formed on the cave.

I was happy! The scenery and environment was different than the city. Would love to come again in the future insya Allah.

Ladyfiesta Enterprise

Alhamdulillah akhirnya dah berjaya mendaftarkan perniagaan perkhidmatan pengurusan penyewaan rumah yang bernama Ladyfiesta Enterprise. Dah lama nak register tp asyik tak berkesempatan. Alhamdulillah berjaya juga akhirnya.

So excited. Haha. Nama ni Zul yg bagi cadangan. So kita gunakan company ni utk hal ehwal urusan Villa Meena dan sewaktu dengannya. Pegawai SSM ada mention tadi yang Ministry of Tourism ada keluarkan instructions utk homestay didaftarkan dengan syarikat sdn bhd. Insya Allah kalau lebih maju nnt boleh upgrade. 😊😊

In order to grow, you need to change. Things that are done the same way will generate the same results.

Embrace change. It’s the path to growth.

Sedih harini.

Banyak kerja. Banyak masalah. Banyak stress.

Tapi paling sedih kalau mintak tolong orang yg kita selalu tolong tapi tetibe kene marah.

Takpelah. Tolong pun mesti ikhlas. Tak boleh expect anything in return.

Amin.

LAMPU Festival at Putrajaya 2016 (or should i say 2017?)

Last night we visited LAMPU Festival at Putrajaya (Presint 3). There were a lot of people (since it’s New Year holidays too) and the digital projection they did on the Istana Kehakiman was fantastic!

Especially this one. It shows as if the building is dancing! My kids also loced the projection especially Adam.

Besides that, they also have some decorations and also cars (you have to pedal ’em).

However, there was not much activities that could be done (besides buying the lights toys and play). More rooms for improvement, hopefully for next LAMPU Festival, insya Allah.

By the way, Happy New Year 2017 everyone!

Kidzoona at IOI City Mall

Today my husband and I brought our kids, Adam, Ameena and Azmi for an outing at IOI City Mall. There’s a lot more people than normal today, probably double/triple their usual weekend crowd. Probably due to Christmas holidays.

Anyway, we decided to bring them to Kidzoona, an indoor playground suitable for kids below 12 years old. Although probably more suitable for kids below 8 years old. For kids above that age might be a little boring for them.
However we love Kidzoona as it’s quite affordable and entertaining for our kids (aged 5, 4 and 3 years old). Ample excitement for them. When I brought Adam and Meena to Kidzoona in Melaka last week, they spent more than 3 hours there and I was already so sleepy. Haha.

Anyway, would like to share with you some pictures of Kidzoona IOI City Mall Putrajaya (located on first floor, near the Icescape Ice Skating Rink). It is actually in the same area as Molly Fantasy. So you need to find Molly Fantasy in order to find Kidzoona.

Entrance fees as of 24th December 2016:

Weekday: RM10/kid

Weekend/Public Holiday: RM17/kid

(Free for guardian above 18 years old and all children must be accompanied by a guardian at all times)

Socks are required. If you forgot your socks, you can purchase from them as well.

Roller Coaster Weeks

These past 2 weeks have been such a roller coaster for me. With problems at the office and at home, including Facebook disabling my account, really almost throw me into a depression.

With Facebook I contact my US friends and save all my photos when I were in the US.

Anyhow, today made my day a little when I discovered my old account at Flickr.

Although not as many photos as I have put on Facebook, some of the pictures made me smile.

I really miss my student life. 😭😭😭

I wish I could turn back time and go back to the United States.

But I can’t.

So now what I can do is to prepare and embrace the future. Be the best.

Pray for me.
