Wakeup Call

Facebook has disabled my account since last Thursday. A very bad timing as well.

I really feel I am the victim here. I haven’t done anything that violates Facebook terms and conditions. I used my real name, real pictures. All my company’s trademarks are registered. I am unsure if the Facebook bots are the one who disabled my accounts or somebody reported me (reported what? There’s nothing that i have violated).

It’s very unfair for Facebook to do this to their users without any explanation and whatever. I am even considered as their customer. My company has spent thousands on facebook ads every month up until the day my account being disabled. Now all my business pages are gone too.

I have been trying to contact Facebook since the past few days with utter failure. This is probably an example of a successful company with very poor customer service.

I used to be a fan of Facebook, following Mark Zuckerberg’s stories, even promoting to other SMEs to use Facebook Ads. I feel utterly betrayed and I am really stressed out on this.

However, this has been a wake up call for me. Don’t depend your marketing on one platform only. They can easily kill you off without any reason.

Now I wonder if I would ever be the same again with Facebook. I feel very victimized.

A refresh at Melaka

I have been quite stressed out for a few days and decided to take a short vacation away from home and office. As I left home at 11pm last night, I was only allowed to choose somewhere near enough for me to drive at night without being sleepy.

Well, I chose Melaka 😊😊😊

Although I plan to have a rest without work-related disturbance, I still received lot of calls and whatsapp today 😭😭😭 that need my response. But probably that’s COO life, you cannot run away a day. Or probably I am not a good enough COO yet. Huhu.

Anyway, it’s good to have a relaxing day away from work to avoid burnout. If you feel you are quite tensed and easily get angry at the office, consider take some time away off work.

Benefits of living near the office

Alhamdulillah today I have managed to help my good friend to move nearer to the office. Our officemates helped as well, thank you much everyone who have helped today, really appreciate all your effort.

There’s still a lot of arrangement to be done but alhamdulillah at least all the items have been moved successfully.

Anyway, why is living near the office beneficial to oneself?

There are pros and cons of living near to the office. One of the cons might be the rental and moving costs. You might be able to rent a bigger house when living farther from the office at the same amount of rent (assuming your office is near the city or someplace with more rentals demand). However, if you are single, space might not be the biggest issue that you need to face.

Firstly, By living near to the office, you can save your time traveling and use it for something more beneficial. As an example, if you take a bus, the traveling + waiting time might exceed an hour. This amount of time can be used for something else if you move closer to the office and you will be able to make it more productive. Besides, you can save costs on commuting and use the money to cover the higher rent (if it is higher).

Besides, you can actually reduce the amount of stress you need to face when commuting daily. Besides saving time and money that you spend on commute, you will be able to reduce the stress as well, making the work more enjoyable for you. I have seen difference in stress level and productivity in employees who commute from far and those who live nearer to the office.

Well, what do you think? Do you prefer to live near or far from your workplace?

Hello everyone,

Hope you all are doing great! Would like to share some of AVSB’s activities in the month of November. Miftah and Burhan travelled here from Indonesia for 2-week training and traveling in Malaysia. Lots of knowledge have been transferred which we hope will help them to improve the company’s operations in Indonesia 😊😊😊

AVSB Activities Oct 2016

Alhamdulillah had great activities with Venturians in October 2016. During this time, Saepul and Kholil came to Malaysia for intensive training sessions, so, they managed to join quite many activities while they are here 😊😊😊

Alhamdulillah, hope the knowledge and skills that they developed here will be able to help Ventures to grow in Indonesia. Amin…

Tadika Vonad sports day

Hi all,

Today I would like to share with you my memories on Tadika Vonad Sports Day.

It has been held in May 2016 in Bangi (forgive me, i forgot the name but i remember how to go there if you want me to direct you there hehe), and indoors too due to the really hot weather we had earlier this year.

It was adam’s second sports day and ameena’s first sports day. Adam promised “adam tak nangis” for this year’s sports day because he cried last year. Hoho.

However ameena cried. 😭😭😭 she was a bit clingy and did not want to release her hold on mommy and her aunty aisya. Luckily aunty aisya knows how to soothe her (i am not very good at comforting and deattaching my kids from myself haha).

Tadika Vonad is quite active in doing activities and other kids looked very happy.

Hopefully Ammena will enjoy the sports day more next year 😊😊😊

What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.

Well, unfortunately I kept forgetting to update my dear blog. It has been 7 months since my last update.

So sorry!

Well, 2016 has been such a roller coaster year for me – emotionally, physically draining. However, as always, I tried to keep going straight – to achieve our dreams. It’s my final year of twenties, and the start of my thirties. For sure the challenges are going to get bigger and better.

And unfortunately, I still have not yet achieve my dreams – our dreams!

I will share with you some of the challenges I faced and how I faced them. And how all these things happened and made me a better person. However, since there are different and many instances, I will share in the next few posts.

Anyway, just remember – what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger! I almost got “killed” in 2016 as the going got tough. But no, I did not die. I got stronger. So, let’s keep going.

What doesn't kill you,makes youSTRONGER..jpg
